SUMMARY:MD Humanities Summer Teacher Institute- Salisbury University

Humanities is hosting two free teacher institutes, on the subject of Prima
ry Sources & Project Based Learning. Teachers are invited for a hands-o
n research experience. Participants for both institutes will receive three
MSDE credits, complimentary breakfast and lunch each day, as well as a $50
travel stipend.

A
ttendees at this week-long institute will work with primary sources from th
e Edward H. Nabb Research Center for DelMarVa History and Culture. Optional
on-campus housing will be available for $35 a night and three graduate cre
dits may be available for a fee.
National Archives and Records Administration -- July 20th-24th

This institute is presented in partnership with the
National Archives at College Park, MD. Participants will spend Monday, Wed
nesday, and Friday at the Archives, and will participate with a flex schedu
le on Tuesdays and Thursdays that includes interactive webinars and in-dept
h research in MD, DC, or VA.
